Travel information and campus map
We are located at KTH main campus in Stockholm.
How to get here by...
At the central train station of Stockholm, the subway station T-centralen is accessible. You find it by following the T signs (blue). The sign origins from the Swedish term "Tunnelbanan". Choose the Red Line 14, from central station towards Mörby Centrum, stop Tekniska Högskolan. On the right hand side, you can find the schedule and further information about the subway.
Bus 4, 44, 72, or 73, stop Östra Station (near subway station).
Roslagsbanan, stop Östra Station.
From Arlanda airport: Drive south towards Stockholm on the E4. Once you approach the northern city limits Norrtull, keep in the right hand lanes and follow the signs for Värtahamnen. This will take you from Norrtull through the roundabout at Roslagstull and onto Valhallavägen going south.
In order to get to the Department you will actually have to pass KTH (large red brick building on your left hand side) going south on Valhallavägen. In order to do a 180° turn and come back to KTH, take the first left (note that there is about 20 m of left hand traffic as you cross the middle of Valhallavägen) and take a left again, now going north on Valhallavägen. Take the next right turn into Drottning Kristinas väg and follow the route indicated on the map above.
There are normally parking lots available around Teknikringen 8. A parking permit is required.
Arlanda-, Bromma- or Skavsta airport.
Take the airport coaches or Arlanda express from the airport to the City-Terminal, which is situated right besides the central station where also the subway station (T-Centralen) is. A taxi from Arlanda airport is between 450 and 500 SEK. Taxis in Stockholm accept credit cards.
